Acknowledge an Alarm

Purpose

Confirm you have seen an alarm so you can return to normal operation and perform the required corrective action.

Steps

1. When an alarm notification appears, read the text carefully (machine + condition).
2. Select Acknowledge.
3. Perform the corrective action defined by your team (often via an instruction or maintenance SOP).
4. If the alarm repeats, report it to your supervisor or maintenance contact.

Troubleshooting
