SSL Certificate Settings¶
Purpose¶
Use SSL Certificate Settings to download the application's SSL certificate and install it on operator/admin devices.
In on-premise deployments, the system may use a self-signed certificate. Installing it helps browsers trust the site and reduces security warnings.
Steps¶
- Open Settings > SSL certificate settings.
- Select Download.
- Install the certificate according to your IT policy and operating system:
- Windows: install into Trusted Root Certification Authorities
- macOS: install into the System Keychain and mark as trusted (if required)
- Restart the browser and reload the app.
What users see¶

- A download action for the SSL certificate.
- Browser warnings on first access if the certificate is not trusted.
Best practices¶
- Prefer IT-managed deployment (group policy/MDM) for consistent trust on all devices.
- Do not install certificates from unknown sources. Only use the certificate downloaded from your official app instance.
Troubleshooting¶
- Browser warning still appears -> Certificate not installed or not trusted -> Reinstall and restart the browser -> Escalate to IT if corporate policies prevent installation
- Access is blocked entirely -> Security policy denies self-signed certificates -> Use an IT-issued certificate if available -> Escalate to IT/network security
